House name Teynham, London Road, Clacton-on-sea

Anna Roper died Oct 1930 and the place of death on her certificate is, 'Teynham, London Road, Clacton-on-sea'. Does anyone know if this place still exists please.

i,ve had a google st view of london rd and can,t see a house named teynham but thats not to say it,s not there i,m wondering if you are able to ring either of these 2 no,s of post offices in clacton , magdalen green p o 01255 422566 or 422361 the magdalen gn po is in old rd which continues on when london rd finishes if there is still a property called teynham they,ll know by there computer postal list worth a try at least , i take it no number was given on death cert for the rd

Thanks for the phone no's.   I tried the Google route and like you I did not find anything or by searching the post codes book.  I'll give the post offices a ring during the week.  No street number was given on the certificate.

Searching for a post code for Teynham, London Road, Clacton on Sea doesn't bring up any results so I suspect it's gone or been renamed.
