The 1867 marriage is on the IGI and was 24.12.1867 - fathers were Dawson Nicholson and George Lambton

Hi Elaine (and CaroleW)...not to butt in, however, on the LDS website in the Pedigree Resource File section, some persons have posted  partial family trees on Dawson Nicholson.  It looks like it might be worth having a look at them.    Pat

Freebmd shows James William Lambton was born in the March qtr 1841 so should be on the 1841 census - can't find him at the moment though

I can't find an 1841 or an 1851 entry for James but have found him on the 1861

Somebody has notified a transcription error as they were indexed as Lampton

1861 for Newcastle - all b Newcastle
