1.   James McLeod [Engine Driver]  was born on 8 Feb 1829 in Wemyss, Fife, Scotland. He died on 23 Feb 1909 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.  The cause of death was Paraplegia and Cerebral Haemorrhage.

James married Margaret Henderson  daughter of William Henderson [Engine Wright to Lord Wemyss] and Margaret McDonald on 13 Aug 1852 in Dysart, Fife, Scotland. Margaret was born on 18 Mar 1827 in Wemyss, Fife, Scotland. She died on 8 Jul 1885 in Kirkcaldy, Fife Scotland.

They had the following children:

   2   M   i.   John McLeod  was born on 13 Oct 1849 in West Wemyss, Fife, Scotland. He died on 4 Jun 1919 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.
John married (1) Margaret Herd  daughter of James Herd and Cecilia Pearson on 5 Jan 1874 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. Margaret was born on 6 Oct 1851 in Kinghorn, Fife, Scotland. She died on 16 Jul 1885 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.


   3   M   ii.   William Henderson MacLeod [Coal Miner  Linoleum Works Foreman]  was born on 7 Feb 1853 in West Wemyss, Fife, Scotland. He died on 17 Sep 1933 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.
William married Christina Ross Munro  daughter of George Munro and Jane Williamson on 5 Nov 1875. Christina was born on 30 Aug 1856 in Markinch, Fife, Scotland.

   4   F   iii.   Margaret McLeod [Linen Weaver]  was born on 19 Apr 1854 in Abbotshall, Fife, Scotland. She died on 28 Apr 1928 in Kirkcaldy, Fife,  Scotland.
Margaret married Thomas Paton  son of Samuel Paton and Janet Meikle Jones on 21 Jul 1892 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. Thomas was born on 18 Nov 1856 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. He died on 25 Apr 1920 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.

   5   F   iv.   Robina McLeod  was born on 13 Aug 1855 in Abbotshall, Fife, Scotland. She died on 25 Nov 1880 in Kirkcaldy, Fife,  Scotland. 
Robina married James Henderson  son of William Henderson and Rachel McIntosh on 14 May 1877 in Abbotshall, Fife, Scotland. James was born on 29 Nov 1853 in Abbotshall, Fife, Scotland.
   9   F   viii.   Ann McLeod [Linen Weaver]  was born on 29 Sep 1861 in Abbotshall, Fife, Scotland. She died on 27 Jan 1914 in Dysart, Fife, Scotland.  The cause of death was Breast Cancer.
Ann married Robert Haxton Forbes  son of Andrew Kilgour Forbes and Elizabeth Haxton on 31 Dec 1912 in Dysart, Fife, Scotland. Robert was born on 17 May 1867 in Dysart, Fife, Scotland. He died on 28 Sep 1915 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.

   10   F   ix.   Janet McLeod  was born on 25 Jun 1863 in Abbotshall, Fife, Scotland. She died on 22 May 1932 in Kirkcaldy, Fife,  Scotland.
Janet married Unknown  in Nov.

   11   F   x.   Isabella Herd McLeod  was born on 25 May 1865 in Abbotshall, Fife, Scotland. She died on 4 Oct 1909 
Isabella married Robert Haxton Forbes  son of Andrew Kilgour Forbes and Elizabeth Haxton on 28 Sep 1890. Robert was born on 17 May 1867 in Dysart, Fife, Scotland. He died on 28 Sep 1915 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.
