John Henry Huddart 1901 marriage
« on: Saturday 25 December 10 21:55 GMT (UK) »
John Henry Huddart married in 1901 in the Wirral.  I found a record in FreeBMD site but I'm not sure of who his spouse is.  There are two males and two females on the record.  Can someone please take a look at it and tell me if his spouse is Nellie Coy or Jane Ann Restall.  I only found out about this site yesterday and I don't think I'm using it to my best advantage.  Can anyone help me?

From the census it is Jane Ann Restall. You can't determine the correct spouse from the FreeBMD site. They have for children aged 1 to 9.

Hi isobel

Unfortunately you can't tell from the indexes at this date how the couples paired up.

Your best bet is to look at the 1911 census and see if you can find one or both couples there.

Thanks everyone for all your information and help. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this for me. The Cheshire site will be a great help to me as my husband's family all come from that area.

I have only been using Scottish records to date and am still trying to work with English records so any help I can get is very welcome.

Thanks once again.

Isobel

Hi David,

Yes, that's definitely them. It's my husband who's related to the Huddarts. Unfortunately, because of illness I no longer research the family tree.
