Census (1851)and Baptismal Lookup PAGE Family Langham and Blaxhall, Suffolk

Hi there,

Hoping someone may be able to assist. I'm seeking a baptism/birth of a Thomas Henry Page born about 1831 in Langham, Suffolk. Parents were John Thomas Page and Mary Ann.  Also any help in locating Thomas Henry Page in 1851 census. I have had no luck. His father and mother already moved to Middlesex, with his sister Louisa.

Also seeking any help with John Thomas PAGE birth in about 1803-1806 Blaxhall, Suffolk.

I checked the Langham parish registers today but could not find a baptism for Thomas Henry Page at all.  A Thomas Page (shoemaker) and his wife Susan were baptising children in Langham at this time, but this is obviously not the right family.

However, I did have more luck in the Blaxhall registers.

John s/o Benjamin Page and Sarah his wife (late Stock spinster) was born Sept 5th 1802 and received into the church Oct 24th 1802.
Also some siblings:

Charlotte born 17th December 1806 publicly baptised 4th Jan 1807
Emma born 6th Sept 1804 baptised 10th Sept 1804 received into church 13th Jan 1805
Mary born 19 Apr 1799 received into church 20th July 1800
Betty born 14th March 1798 baptised 8th July 1798
Susan born 20th Sept 1796 baptised 18th November 1796

And some extra information on the Page family from the Blaxhall registers:

Benjamin Page singleman OTP
Sarah Stock singlewoman OTP
Married in Blaxhall on 19th day of October 1795
He signed X, she signed her name
In presence of John Wright (signed) Sarah Page (X)

Benjamin Page married man was buried May 3rd 1809 aged 39 years

Ann, illegitimate daughter of Sarah Page widow/late Stock spinster was born April 10th 1810 and publicly baptised 15th April 1810

Hi Anne,

Thank you very much for the information you were able to obtain. I would gather that Thomas H. Page may have been born in Langham but was baptised at some point, if at all in Blaxhall. Nevertheless, his father was baptised in Blaxhall and that is great.
