Janet Smail nee Sharp

I am looking for any information on Janet Sharp she married David Smail about 1804 there first child was born 1806 Stow Janet was born about 1788 unfortunately I am not sure where.I have looked on sp but no luck any help would be great

Hi Kate

There is a Jean (often interchangeable with Janet) Smail in the 1841 census, aged 48, married to David Smail (50).  They are in Crichton Village, Midlothian, and have a daughter, Jean (18).

Jean (senior) was born in Midlothian.

Hi yes there appeared to be 2 families about that time same name which often happened if it is my one I still cant find a birth for her
