Details of James Alfred Bradford

Looking for anything about James Alfred Bradford convicted at the Somerset Assizes 30 March 1822 and sentenced to transportation to Australia for 7 years.

He worked for his freedom through a Ticket of Leave, was granted land in the Upper Hunter region and now has many descendents.

With few records to access have no idea how many 'Somerset Assizes' there may have been. Am aware of Taunton but suspect there are others.
