Thank you to each and everyone of you, for spreading your expertise and humour in your posts and most of all to our lovely Moderators who do a lot of work behind the scenes to help make sure your research is a success.

Happy Birthday and Congratulations to Sarah and Trystan for this most wonderful website.  I found it by google accident a couple of years ago and have been a daily visitor ever since.  Through this site I have connected with a cousin in the UK and had the opportunity to meet her in London last June.  It has also led to a severe case of research addiction which I find thoroughly enjoyable but is totally misunderstood by family members and friends!!

A big thank you to all the brilliant members on the Photo restoration board who so generously work their magic on our old (and sometimes new) photos and to those knowledgeable folk who aid in the dating of photos so we can perhaps identify a mystery family member.

Thank you also to the moderators who watch over the boards and gently guide us to follow the rules!

I credit this site and so many of the regular knowledgeable members with teaching me some very important research skills and providing me many hours of entertainment and enjoyment!!

Happy New Year's to all and may Rootschat enjoy many more birthdays!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROOTSCHAT

I was fortunate enough to discover Rootschat near the beginning of my ancestral trails...and now, after a tough few months in the Real World (darn it, it always manages to interfere!) I have had to put my research on the back burner for a while...but that doesn't stop from popping into Rootschat to keep up.  And that I think is what makes RC great....

Thanks to all who have helped me over the months, possibly years.

My much missed distant cousin Celia introduced me to the site and I have never looked back since. 
Many brick walls have been broken down for me by the good folk on here and friends made.
