BMD in Malta - COMPLETE

Not sure if this is the right board for this, but....

According to his NZ death certificate, Colin Walpole Edward CLARKE was born in Malta on 27 Jul 1912, parents being Colin and Helen CLARKE nee SIMMS. He was in New Zealand by about 1931.

Have tried a few websites that have Maltese church indexes but nothing. A friend who has FindMyPast has looked in the Overseas BMD but nothing.

Colin CLARKE senior was a doctor/surgeon, who was in the military at one time, so should show up in the Overseas BMD.

Can anyone suggest anywhere else to look.

hi,,,,can i ask why you need his birth certificate?  you know who his parents are,,,,is there a reason you need his actual birth certificate? 
for others who are trying to help....his father was a lieutenant in the royal army medical corp,,b c1882 hampstead,London.

I am trying to get confirmation of his mothers name.

It turns out his father Colin was probably here in NZ as well, as there is a death in 1935 for a Colin CLARKE age 53, and his probate index said he was a medical practitioner of Pukepoto, which is where CWEC was in NZ.

Perhaps coming at this from a different direction, there is a record of a Dr Colin Clarke and family sailing for Sydney en route to New Zealand from Southampton on 9 May 1931 on the Moreton Bay:

Clarke Mrs Helen 50 housewife
Clarke Miss Christabel H 21 student
Clarke Mr Edward W 18 student

Apparently Christabel married Theophilus Bismarck Matthews in Kaitaia in 1938
