You might be onto something there, Jim. If they knew they were going to include her in the group pic, they could have left space for her. Do you notice the size of her head compared to the others, it's bigger. And definitely the light is on the wrong side. I think your version looks better as she is facing the right way, and her "new" hand on the Gents shoulder mergers her into the group quite well.
