Hi,
I am presently writing an article about 'The Lawn' in Collier Row for the Romford Recorder. You are welcome to read the article when it is published (I can send a link to the e-edition of the newspaper).
I would very much like to use your photograph of the family group in the garden of 'The Lawn', if I may be permitted, as it is the only picture I know of that shows the house.
So far as I could establish, the west wing of the house was in existence before 1849, and the south and east wings were added around the 1860s, probably by William Blakeley.
