Hi there
I bought 30 credits two days ago and they had gone up to £7 unless they charged me a quid for the visa card I used??
I do like the fact that you can pay 5 credits for a certificate if its over 100 years. That helped me find my McAllisters all the way back to 1804.

Scotlands People's charges went up from £6 to £7 on 1 April. You still get 30 credits for this new amount and searches and viewing images remain the same number of credits, i.e 1 credit to view search results and 5 credits to view an image (just costs a few pennies more...!) www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/Content/Help/index.aspx?1263

Has anyone else had problems viewing the images today? I have found I was having difficulty with the site. I coulnd't download the images at first and was charged twice for viewing the image. This was just after 11 and I logged out and when I went back in it was fine. Did anyone else have problems with it?

Yes I do understand that Monica, expected it but don't appreciate the way they deal with these issues which arise. It's quite an expensive facility to use. I do think they could be more responsive to mistakes. After all, if you've paid a lot of money over the years to the site - which I have as have many others - I do think they should reimburse you for errors. Not a great deal to ask.

The link that you posted there doesn't seem to be available anymore. When I click on it I get a message telling me it doesn't exist anymore.
