Hi,

I'm trying to find info on a Margaret Dorinda BROOKES who I believe was in the Hereford (possibly Weston Beggard) area in 1935. I've found a birth record for someone of that name in Ely, Cambridgeshire in 1875 but that's about it. Any info on marriage/death/ how to trace general whereabouts would be much appreciated.

she got about a bit mother from Lancs sister b Bradford Yorks and she was born Isle of Ely Cambs

And should you wish to look her  up  in the 1911 census, she is indexed as Margaret Rosinda  ;)

Margaret D McOwan dies in 1949 aged 50, so I think we can rule that marriage out.

Thanks for all of this info, it's been very helpful! Still not 100% sure she's the one I'm looking for from Hereford, but she's the closest match I can find so far!
