Hi

Does George PENNEY have known Roxburghshire connections? Was it from Roxburghshire that his father moved to Perth?

If not, you might get more replies if you posted your query on the Perthshire list.

Hi,

There is a George Penny in Crieff. He was in business for many years and had a supermarket here called 'Penny Lane' which he later sold to the original Co-op Soc., George is still living and he may be connected - tele number from the directory is (*). I din't know him that well but he's a reasonable chap and I'm sure if you called he's be quite nice.

Hope this helps.
