Benjamin Thatcher

Benjamin Thatcher moved to Australia and died in Perth in 1912.
He was accompanied by his youg son Frederick Albert who said in later years he was born in W.A but his birth certificate shows him born in NZ so he must of accompanied his father to Australia as an infant.
Frederick Albert returned to NZ and Married Jessie Codlin.
They had several children..and inexplicably changed their surname to Chapman.
Jessie died and Frederick Albert moved on after placing the children with nuns.
He is believed to have remarried.

Benjamin and Lucy I believe are Benjamins  parents as the names Lucy and Fred crop up a bit.

I am Benjamins great grandson and have his death certificate.
