1841 Cenus - Coley / Walker
« on: Saturday 08 January 11 01:02 GMT (UK) »
To start off:  As stupid as it sounds I have up to now in my "Family Search" read the census for the names I was interested in.  A few months ago I came to the realization I should be reading "around" the census to see other people who are in the same location to get a feeling for a family dynamic.

I am interested in the Coley Family from Cradley and my current goal is to find William Coley (abt 1808, Cradley, Worcestershire, England) parents if possible.  I really want to get "before 1800" if possible.

As a result I have been been trying to find any hint of his brothers/sisters or other relations to help stitch together the family.

In the 1841 census I have found Pamella Walker (age 75) and a Rosanna Walker (35) years old.  Rosanna I recognize and she is living with the family 10 years later, and then moves onto another Walker family after this.  Pamella I am wonder if she is Mary Coley (nee, Walker) mother, or Grandmother.

Given this information, is there a chance or a way to track the Coley side, or confirm the relationship between Pamella and Mary (Pamella appears to have died before the next census).

Thanks for any hints.

thanks!

I been going around the familsearch.org site and I hate the front-page interface.  It to much like a dead-end search.  The labs interface is so much better (and I hope it doesn't disappear like it says it will)
