looking for info regarding James Rutherford HYLTON,   he came to England in the 1950's from jamaica.  His wife Cynthia arrived after him in (9th Oct) 1960 aboard the m/s Northern Lights.  

Address in UK given as 28 Tynmouth Rd Tottenham, N15.

Any help will be of use.

This is info we do not have sad to say. 

Not a lot known about him at all.  He came over a few years (1955 we think) before Cynthia.  Can't find him arriving at any port

I will get my mate to write down all he knows in the hope that may help.

Is there a copy of Cynthia's death cert available?  Did James report her death?

If not - is Cynthia shown as a widow on the death cert

Cynthia had no children with her when she arrived in England but the passenger list shows another female married Hylton who was born 1938 and appears to be travelling with her

thanks for te input,  it turns out that James is alive and well (92). 
So as you rightly point out we can not do any further work.
