Old photo restoration and dating please. Completed

I recently found this photo of one of my ancestors. It was in 5 pieces when I found it and so I have tried to stick it back together as best as I could.
I would be grateful if someone could restore the image and at the same time give me a rough estimate of the era in which it was taken. Many thanks

Photo about 1910ish.

Could you do a higher-resolution scan in colour please? This is going to be a difficult one to restore and the restorers need a bigger image to work with...scan at 300dpi or more.

You will have to change the file name for reposting, just add a letter or number to it and that should be fine.

& leave out the scanner bed.

Right.

Place your cursor at one corner of the photo, drag a box around it, and scan just the photo. Otherwise you waste kilobytes on the scanner bed, which looks pretty good just as it is and doesn't really need much restoring

I've started on it.

It is 300 dpi and many restore at a lower resolution. Without the scanner bed it's 1160 x1600 - quite adequate really.

I shall continue with the current scan.

Thanks for your replies. It's taken me a while but I think I've done as requested. The photo resolution is 300dpi, this is the best my scanner will do I'm afraid. I think I've now managed to remove the scanner bed from the picture.

Only the ones I didn't scan myself...not much I can do about that.

The originals I put up last summer were scanned at 1200 dpi.
