Sounds like you should work for the Dudley Tourist Board, Angel-Eyes! ;D

I'd love to join you in June sometime. I have never been to the Black Country Museum although the grandchildren have been and enjoyed themselves there.

My OHs ancestors, the Silvers family, were from Dudley so I could do some research at the same time! ::)

That's a very good suggestion for a meet.

I remember going to Dudley Zoo as a child (too far back to remember exactly when) and I loved it.

We would love to have you along Judy I know Dudley really well and all of the buildings at the museum were taken brick by brick and rebuilt to exact specifications as the originals. My Nan old school now stands there. There is something for everyone and it really takes you back to bygone days. The fish and chips are world renown so worth a visit to taste those. As is a trip down the singing caverns, but be warned take an umbrella! So I do hope you can make it Judy, I do so enjoy meeting folks from roots x
