Thank you to both for the info
that has led me to find her death in August 4th 1898
at 20 Victoria Street, Montrose.
She was living with her Widowed daughter Jane Wilson
married in 1866 on 13 of July at Co town of Gallonton, Dunnottar
to William Falconer a Railway Porter from Montrose born Kinneff. age 27
Jane Wilson died 1914 June 9 th at 28 Mill Street, Montrose
informant was son John Falconer living at 56 King Street, Montrose
her husband William Falconer died at Aberdeen Usual residence 20 Victoria Street,
Montrose. 17 may 1897 he is recorded by his widow as a bill poster.
Census suggest that William was born at Kinneff his father was James Falconer a farmer
his mother Jane Milne.
William and Jane had four children
James born 1868 Bervie
1895 married Jessie Johnston of 5 Castle Place, Montrose

living at Wharf Street
they had a daughter Jessie J b 1896
d ?
Jane Ann b 1870 Benholm likely Johnshaven
m George McKenzie a Joiner Nov 1899
d ?
in 1901 Census the couple and their daughter Helen B 1901,were living at Inverkip Renfrewshire
Jane Falconer was also there listed as Mother in law, baby was 3 mos old so made sense.
John b 1874 Johnshaven (Benholm)
m 12 Dec 1898 Janet McARTHUR Greig
father Robert Butters Greig a wood carver
mother Janet McARTHUR
he also married Catherine Marr Melville who died 28 Apr 1945
in Census John was a grocer there was also a daur Doroth V Faconer born 1900
John likely died 1950 buried Sleephillock same as Catherine Melville.
Helen b 1877 to 1899 Montrose
m 22 June 1911 at Queens Hotel Montrose James Taylor a gas fitter
d 15 or 16 December at 107 High Street informant was son John F Taylor.
I did not fine Helen in the 1901 census not with brothers or sister.
Thanks again, Ev if you would like the marriage record for John & Janet Greig send me a PM
The reason I did not find Helen Wilsons death was she was recorded as 70 she was actually 85.
I could not find William Falconers death in 1897 a) he was indexed as Willia not William (I was using exact name)
b) he died Aberdeen not Montrose
This has cost me quite a few credits at SP to learn that.
