Could some kind person look for an Elizabeth Merrin on the 1881 census please ? I'd like to know the names of her parents & siblings. According to later census records, she would have been born 1868/9. The only one I can find was born at Shardlow in the September quarter 1869, but on the subsequent census records ,ie, after she married (can't find the marriage....she married a Samuel Elliott), she was living in Nottingham, so her family may have moved there after her birth. There are several Samuel/Elizabeth Elliott combinations in Nottingham....this was the Samuel Elliott born in Chard, Somerset.

The other Eliozabeth Merrins I've found born in Notts are....an Eliza Ann Merrin born Nottm Sep 1873, an Elizabeth Merrin born Doncaster Jun 1878...an Elizabeth Merrin born Nottm Sep 1881, & a Lizzie Merrin born Nottm 1887, so the one from Shardlow seems the most likely
