Hi all I am looking for any help into the Mackin & Burns Family.James Mackin B.Abt.1844 Ireland Married Elizabeth Burns (B. Abt. 1844 in Glasserton Wigton.) in 1866 In Port William Parish of Mochrum. They had about 10 children born in Mochrum Dalbeattie.Anyone shed light on them.Thankyou.

Can you clarify exactly what info you already have and what you still need so we don't end up duplicating

Have you viewed the 1866 marriage cert to fnd their respective parents names and mothers maiden names?

What census info do you already have?

The births of 5 of their children are on the IGI - have you looked at the entries

Mochrum is in Wigtownshire but Dalbeattie is in  Kirkcudbrightshire.  I suspect you already have the following details from the 1881 census

1881 for 112 Copland Street Kirkcudbrightshire,  Children up to Thomas were b Mochrum and the remainder in Dalbeattie
