In what way is that co-incidental?

My gg-grandfathers wife was in the same institution for over 30 years, enumerated with her initials and verified it was her by looking at the surviving records at the archives.

Yes I take your point. My great uncle died in an asylum in London but his death was registered. I can't understand why there is no marriage record or if she remained single a death record surely if she was institutionalised it would have been recorded somewhere
