Freebmd shows him as 47 in 1875 which makes him 10yrs younger than Rebecca - would that be correct?

He re-married in 1858 to Harriet Albra

A burial in London in 1875 would almost certainly have been in a cemetery, not churchyard.

Valda, my co-moderator, has written an excellent guide to burials in London here  for future reference

New resources are frequently appearing online, and there is an entry on the 'Deceased Online' site on 26th January 1875 at Islington Cemetery. You have to pay to view the details of the entry to verify of this is who you are looking for. You'll need a minimum 15 credits £1.50 for this information.

Check with Deceased Online to see if they have scanned or transcribed the burial register. It should be annotated if there is a headstone.

If not, contact Islington cemeteries with the name, date and cemetery and ask them to check their records, they may ask for a fee though.
