Pte Edward Wolstencroft

Not sure if this is the right place for this - perhaps the moderator could move it if necessary.

A WWI postcard to Pte Edward Wolstencroft of the Royal Fusilliers, who came from Lower Edmonton in Middlesex, has been found in the village hall at Shepreth in Cambridgeshire. The hall was used as a military hospital during the war. Local historians have found some background to the soldier but the village primary school are keen to find out more about him and 'Nellie' who sent the postcard. More details are on http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/cambridgeshire/hi/people_and_places/history/newsid_9285000/9285053.stm

I wonder if anybody here might be interested or perhaps related to the family. Chrisann

Thanks Jennifer. Just to clarify - I am not planning to communicate with the folks at Shepreth myself, I only posted this in case others may want to contact them. Chrisann
