photo needs dating

Hi everyone

I have a photo I need to have dated so I can work out who it is.  The photo was taken in Adelaide and if needed I can scan the back of the photo too
Hoping someone can help me

Hello Kish
Men are quite difficult to date as their clothes style was slow to change this is why China has asked to see all of it.
So from the cardstock we can see it has rounded corners which first appeared in 1875,so that's the starting point.
The style on the back is typical late 1870's & carried over well into the 1880's,however this is a Marion Imp Paris card which from 1880 were date coded,this isn't so the earliest date this can be is 1875 & the latest 1879.
