Correction:
Jane Macaulay m. Francis Reid
They had a son, Robert Macaulay Reid, who married in 1869 Elizabeth Strongitharm, dau of George Strongitharm, lime master of Calderfields, Rushall

Robert and Elizabeth had a dau, Lily Reid, who married in 1895 George Orme Tomblin
     
Thus, Lily wasn't the dau of Jane and Francis.  She was the dau of their son, Robert Macaulay Reid.
