Yes, I'd be interested in seeing that.  Is it the December edition?

Thanks, Skoosh.  If you could just let me know whether there's any mention of Lasswade amongst these Meikles?

Hibee, no mention of Lasswade, they were all over the shop. James Meikle was a very important engineer, connections to Watt, Rennie, Smeaton & Fletcher of Saltoun etc'. A miller & millwright in East Linton.

I also have a Robert Meikle, but this one we think was born about 1837 at Leshmahagow, the son of John Meikle & Janet Clazie, who were from Berwickshire.  Obviously the same names got recycled.  I have very little on these Meikles, so if anyone has information to share, that would be appreciated.
Clezie (Clazie, Clezy, Clazy, Clazey, Claise, etc.), Lockhart, Heiser, Schwab, Tomon, Zarnowski, Megert, Iseli

My first post on Rootschat.  I have researched Andrew Meikle (b 1719, d 1811), but can't find anything about his descendants, except George who died childless two days after his father. I am trying to find a link to William Meikle b 1814 in Ballantrae, one of our ancestors who emigrated to NZ in 1841. There is a remarkable family resemblance to the portrait of A M in The National Gallery, London. Any help appreciated.
