Hi Martin,

Were you able to find any information on Hyman?  He was my Mom's uncle, and I have a few of his siblings & their descendants in my database.  You're welcome to any information that I have, and hopefully you can also fill in some missing pieces on my end.  I can set you up with an account to my online database, if you're interested.

Regards,
John

Hi again, Martin,

I realize that it's been more than 12 years since we last communicated... no idea if we had communicated since then ::).

Back on 30th January 2011 you had mentioned to Valda that you would be meeting your partner's dad, who is a living son of Hyman, and that you hoped to get some information from him.  Which of Hyman's sons would that have been?

My mum (who was a BENJAMIN and was one of Hyman's nieces) provided me with a family chart of all of Solomon BENJAMIN's (1873-1942) & Frances "Fanny" PHILLIPS' (1875-1960) descendants.

My mum & her siblings were 1st cousins with Hyman's children, of which I believe your partner's dad was one of them.

Unfortunately, as is often the case, my mum's chart listed the people on the chart with their names that they were "known by", instead of their full names (i.e. Mick instead of Michael, etc.), and often some of them went by their middle name instead of their first name.  As a result, I have Hyman's 6 children in my family tree, but also additional people with different names but which I am sure are the same people that I already have.

Would you by any chance have the proper full names of all of Hyman's children (of which I believe there were 6 of them)?  And would you by any chance have an on-line family tree somewhere that lists Hyman's children with all their respective family members (spouses, descendants, etc.)?

I am willing to share whatever information that I have on the BENJAMIN line... no idea if I'm allowed to post the URL of my on-line family tree here on this site ;D.

Thank you in advance & have yourself a great day.

Regards,
John
