Thanks for your reply, yeah you could be right but I haven't found a match yet for a son of Robert but it looks like they're the cutlers from kilmaurs, ayr,  David Biggart is the brother of 1698 Robert Biggart.

Thank you very much for your help the record match now as to which Margaret biggar, sancti, I have found Robert's father Robert born in 1726 to David Biggar/t and Elizabeth Harper, not getting excited yet but it looks that David Biggar/t is the Cutler from Kilmaurs, Ayr the swords smith
