They may be available at the Ruthin records office of Denbighshire County Council.

I meant the archives and records office at Ruthin Gaol.  If you are able to make a personal visit to Ruthin you may be able to look at the microfiche.

If she died in Glyn, the RD would be Corwen.  However, she might have died elsewhere. Have you tried Oswestry and Wrexham RDs - they are the neighbouring RDs.

There is one in 1853, registered Oswestry but that's a bit early.

Added - I see you've tried Wrexham. Oswestry might be the next best bet then.

I am begining to think maybe 1853 was the year she died.I was in touch with Ruthin Records again and she said it may be Oswestry so i will give them a phone.I wasnt sure because her home address is Llangadwaladr/Glyn Ceiriog. Thanks for your help anyway.I will let you all know when i find it.

Hi  :)

I've just been checking and I think Llangadwaladr might have been in Llanfyllin RD until 1930 (Lanrhaeadr sub-district):

http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/DEN/Llangadwaladr/index.html#Registration

Freebmd have three death registration for a Catherine Lewis in Llanfyllin - 1858, 1859 and 1860

So if Oswestry doesn't come up with anything, then it might be worth trying Llanfyllin
