hi,does anyone know if the Imperial Light Horse Regiment in the Boer War had a cap badge or any sort of insignia ?

Found this Steve...theres also a few items on that well known online auction site but they date later (1913)

They would have worn a slouch hat during the Boer War with ILH (as shown in Ady's link to the sholder title) either on a rosette, or directly onto the turned up side.

I see that you have a Great Grandfather in the ILH... I am transcribing the ILH and ILI and have photographed all the enrolment forms, if you haven't already got a copy I am happy to see if there is one for him.
