The marriage took place at the parish church of Islington on 4th April 1869.

Henry John Shilston of full age ,bach,clerk,Of Gibson Square,father Joseph Shilston gentleman.

Catherine Tryphenia Gaden minor,spinster, of Florence Street,father Benjamin Skutt Gaden,agent for a life insurance.

Witnesses Henry Bifley or Bifby and Louisa (possibly Stephens?)

Everyone signed.

Catherine was baptised on 14 Mar 1851 DOB 15th Feb, at Old St Pancras Church ,parents  Benjamin Skutt Gaden and Ellen Gaden(married in Dec 1846,maiden name King)

The address was Oakley Square and dad is a merchant.

Thank you Carol, sorry for not replying yesterday.  Henry John Shilston was born 1847 and died 1899.  Catherine married in 1895 as a widow...........  I can't find a record of their divorce on the National Archives so it appears that perhaps Robert Hammond and Catherine's marriage wasn't exactly legit!
