crematorium
« on: Sunday 06 February 11 22:08 GMT (UK) »
My grandad lived in Chepstow, Wales and was cremated in 1977 having passed away in the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport.  Does anyone know which crematorium would have been used in 1977 which was the nearest to Chepstow? many thanks Julie

There is a crematorium on the outskirts of Cwmbran.

Was his death put in the local newspaper by his family? May well tell you where he was cremated.

Probably Chepstow cemetery (not a crematorium).
