Marriage look-up request?
« on: Monday 07 February 11 09:25 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find a marriage in Cornwall it was between Frederick TREBILCOCK and Mary ?? between 1881 & 1891, around the St. Dennis area.  I have tried a search in Ancestry but to no avail.  Thank you very much.

Hello LodgeGirl,

Evie may be on to something!

The Cornwall OPC has what I suspect to be the same marriage, between Frederick Trebilcock and Mary Elizabeth Searle.  If you click on "more info" you'll see that the grooms residence was St Dennis.

What do you think - a possible?

Well done Yorkslass. I always forget about Cornwall OPC and really I shouldn't - an excellent resource.

I couldn't see Mary Elizabeth's baptism - could you?

No, I couldn't find her - nor in the pilot family search!

I did have a nosy at the 1861 census, and I think she's at St Feock with parents William and Elizabeth Searle.
