Would appreciate if someone could look up the birth details for a Amy Gertrude Hinton born October 1901, Sutton Veney, Wiltshire.  I need to know who here parents where, please.

No entry for Amy Gertrude sadly, but perhaps some of the other parents jive with something you already know?

No luck with Parents but her Grandparents were:
James HINTON, 71 Born 1840 Sutton Veny & 
Jane HINTON, 64 Born 1847 Warminster   
Amy HINTON, Granddaughter  9 Born 1902 Sutton Veny

Thank you.   Yes it is the correct family, and Amy G B Hinton is listed as Grandchild on the 1911 census with Jane and James Hinton, my Great Grandparents.  So Amy's parents are a mystery at the moment, as the District of Warminster is large so her birth could be any parish.  Not sure what to do now.

James/Janes Daughters HESTER 1878, EMMA 1882 and CLARA 1884 would be old enough to give Birth to Amy by 1901.
Looks to me if you are directly related you need the Birth Cert

There is a marriage for Amy G Hinton to Arthur J Collier . Warminster district . Volume 5a. Page 0335. July - Sept. quarter 1929. This may be useful to you as a copy of the marriage certificate should show her father's information, i.e. name and occupation.

I think Amy may have been born in Chippenham and maybe her father was William.  If you are that way dould you check for me please.
