Hi
 Does anyone know whether solicitors that existed in 1830 are functioning in any way, shape or form today please?

Messrs  Sewell, Hearn & Sewell of Newport.

The last mention of Sewell & Co solicitors of Newport on the Hampshire CALM database is 1845-54

Solicitors are often joined by new partners who add their name and eventually replace existing names.  It might be worth looking at trade directories or asking the IOW records office.
