Greete Marriage Register post 1834?
« on: Tuesday 08 February 11 15:06 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone shed any light on the whereabouts of the marriage register for Greete, just outside Tenbury please? Shropshire Archives have a register up to 1834, but no mention of it after that - The implication is that it is still held at the church, can anyone confirm this at all?
Many thanks

Greete is such a tiny place that the registers may still be with the church: there's no contact details on www.findachurch.co.uk - which is normally very useful for finding out about churches - I wonder whether the contacts  for Ludlow churches may be able to advise you?

I see that Genuki has a link to transcribed registers from 1728 - 1812 and BTs from 1665 - 1728.
