Osprey,that's a great lead. I will get onto it today, Thank you !
I agree that accents and careless writers throughout history cause immeasurable damage to the quality of our searching.
They should have employed me each time.I would make sure I got it right lol
Thank God for lateral thinkers like you !
I really appreciate your help.It is tremendous !

Kind regards,

Philip

F/S Pilot;
George FRICKER, christened/baptised 07 March1784, East Knoyle, Wiltshire
Father THOMAS
Possible Siblings;
ROBBIN, 20 April 1777
ELIZABETH, 30 Oct 1779 (probably died)
LOVE CHARITY, 02 Nov 1788
KIZIA, 09 May 1790

Now there is a gap in Births there so they may have lived elsewhere or maybe Thomas Married twice.

Trish, Wow !!! They really knew how to create names then. I love it !
I also had other examples of great names from the Fricker side " Queenie Cristabel", and from the Andrew side " Dollie".
The George Fricker # 1 material is really great,thank you !
My head spins with all the " Georges" in the Fricker family.
I am going to work through this material now and see where I am at,so to speak.
I really appreciate your help Trish.
Cheers,
phipps

Trish, I am finding the Thompson side very interesting.They were possibly farmers. or as you said,maybe farriers,due to the material you kindly sourced being difficult to read.
I think subsequently it was found to be more likely "farmer"
I am going to try to find out what type of farmers they could have been in  the Scilly Islands in 1841.
And there is another great name " Honor",this time on the Thompson side.
I am starting to get confused by the name "Thompson" coming up again later down the line in the Australian Frickers Coghills Creek/Maryborough branch. I am working through that this week.
Charles Andrew Fricker,my uncle Charlie,who died at Woodend,Victoria in 2010,aged 91 had no sons so the direct male line from Herbert George Fricker is now at an end. Such a pity !
Thanks so much for all your help Trish !
Cheers,
