Hi Ray,

Thats interesting, i was always told pat was the older sister, but Jeanette was born in 1927, there is an uncle Redge that i remember, but i will need to speak to my dad tomorrow, im not sure where he fits though as jeanette and pats brother was Peter Knight?

It was on Ancestory which showed the recored, ive re looked it up again and its now saying Knight  ::)

Thank you x

Hi Jen

Please re-read my previous post (I amended it), it doesn't look right to me with the two marriages / different parents, etc...

Cheers

Hi Ray,

Thats really confused me, and im struggling to peice it together (i havent been doing this long and im finding it hard to read) can you put it in simple term for me??

From how i read it-

Herbert marries Ada dowling 1925

jeanette born 1928

pat born 1932

peter 1934

the other marrige shown is reginald and rachel Knight, but i dont understand how that fits??xxx

Hiya

Whoops! sorry, I should have expanded..

(The Patricia registration listed by me) Patricia's mother's maiden name is CROFT not DOWLING.

So to me it's either the wrong Patricia or something much more complicated looking.

I cannot find any other Patricia born (roughly) that area at that "time".

Are Reg & Herbert brothers?
Could she be a cousin?
Could she be a cousin then brought up with the other 2 by Knight/Dowling?

What other ideas? Anyone?

Ray... i think you have something here, i have tried to do some more digging on the Knight side via my uncle to which he said... you will open Pandoras box...!!!

I believe we just have!!!

Im not going to mention what you have founf, but i think that you are right that prehaps they are cousins that were raised together?

Can we get anymore information on Pat via a Census?? I have looked but as my looking skills are limited ive turned up nothing?xxx

Hi

Ooooh! Isn't this exciting?   ;D

I will certainly carry on and see what comes up.
In my case it will now probably be tomorrow.
So if anyone else finds anything in the meantime?

I'm off to take my Dad to lunch now, it doesn't happen often enough.
(Although he's been going to his local now for 70+ years)
