1950s Fancy Dress possibly at Bracknell
« on: Sunday 13 February 11 10:24 GMT (UK) »
I am hoping that someone can help me with this photograph. My mother is in the  front on the far right but I have no idea when, where or why it was taken other than it is possibly in the Bracknell, Wokingham or Warfield area and in the 1950s .

Can anyone help?

There's not much to go on, and there's an awful lot of 'posh & slightly decrepit' homes thereabouts.

Try "South Hill Park" as a starter

Some sort of historical pageant?  There are all sorts of dates represented (and places by the 'red indians')

Given that it is all women, did Mother belong to the WI or Mother's Union?
