I'm going to have my dinner now and a large glass of wine  ;D

So ... I think I am now right (lol) that we are back with the Liverpool Gibbons?

I'll have a look later. I have seen the tree on Ancestry if it is yours- it's that family anyway.

I'll just post what I have found and then you can tell me what you think.

Possible marriage: Free BMD 1884 Walter Gibbons and Sarah A Hartley

1891 RG12; Piece: 3197; Folio 90; Page 46
Maria Gibbons 5 yrs parents Walter (b 1863 Hulme)  and Sarah A

1901  RG13; Piece: 3667; Folio: 23; Page: 37
Walter, Maria and Walter b 1892 - living Stretford (reg district Barton upon Irwell- supports marriage of Maria Gibbons)

marriage of Walter and Sarah Ann shows his father as James Henry

http://www.rootschat.com/links/0bu3/

so this Walter is not the Liverpool Walter.

Not sure now where you are wanting to be going.

heywood :)

Still very unsure but there is a Free BMD death
 Sep 1871
Walter  Gibbons aged 13yrs   Liverpool  vol 8b  pg 188

Do you think this could be the young Walter? He doesn't show up in 1881

The 1913 death is I think young Walter (b 1892) from Manchester
 Mar 1913
 Walter  Gibbons  21yrs  Chorlton  8c 1141

and his sister, Maria would then be the administrator of the estate.

Oh damn it - yes you are right.

Give me ten I will have to remove it all.

Had a reply about the Ireland marriage and baptisms for John, Patrick & Austin. They were from Co Mayo.

Can you check the marriage I have for Patrick Gibbons to Annie Shaw ?

1891 West Derby  JAS 8b 1035

Is his father Austin Gibbons - can you see that on the marriage records ?
