Greenamber, I think the first thing to do is follow up her sisters to see if any of them married a Mr. Holdsworth.  Do you know the names of "your" Sarah's sisters?

Dianer, do you have any details of Sarah's sisters and who Mrs. Holdsworth could be?

Thanks Jool and Hi Dianer. Do not have any details of Sarah's sisters.  Our Sarah had 11 children starting at the age of 17 so it may be unlikely she was married before.  Her parents were:
Samuel Walton
b  22/7/1809 Farsley
d  1/1/1873 Leeds
 = 1828
Nancy Reynolds
b 1809 Leeds
d  1866

Hi Greenamber, I don't think it is "your" Sarah in the newspaper report, she had sisters Emma and Solina (1861 census).  Her mother, Jane, died in 1864 so no more children born after that.  This information does not tie in with the details Dianer has given.

Thanks Jool for the marriage info.

I too do not think this is our Sarah. Such a sad death.  I hope Dianer has more success in finding more information.
