Copperwheat & Barton?
« on: Monday 14 February 11 21:20 GMT (UK) »
May i request a look up of Parish records please to see if William Copperwheat married Elizabeth Barton

I have William and Elizabeth's 5 children from extracted entries on the IGI but Williams marriage to Elizabeth Barton only shows up as submitted entries which i am never happy with. I just wanted to be more sure -or as sure as one can be !! of Elizabeth's maiden name. Thank you in hope--poli  :)

ps the marriage shown in the IGI was September 1755 Ampthill

Thank you Shirl for finding that--wonder what the  "Occurs only in BT" means?

At least i know it doesn't refer to British Telecom !

I feel a bit foolish seeing that you found it on FreeReg--i always usually check in there--slipped up this time--appreciate your help. :)   poli

I guess it means the marriage only appears in the Bishops Transcripts and not in the parish registers, at least you found it.
