Hi KGarrad, I found a Charles Mansfield born around that time on the 1901 census, not sure if it is who I am looking for, but as he was my husbands Great Grandad I know that that is around the year he was born, but they always knew him as Charles Burnand (but there is no record of anyone matching that name around the same birth date).  Dawn
Burnand- Gainsborough
Burnand- Isle of Wight
Burnand- Sheffield
Owen- Wales
Mansfield- Gainsborough

I don't know if you still use this site but partner is a descendant of Amelia, his grandmother Millicent is Amelia's daughter
