I just came across your post whilst researching my partners family tree. George Ollier born in 1826 and living in Grange Lane on the 1891 census was my partners great great grandfather. Im just interested to hear anything you may know!

I have PM'd adj05 with the offer of a couple of Ollier addresses in Bowdon from the current BT directory. Grange Lane however no longer exists but Grange Road does.  I live close by and wondered if you could 'describe' other roads next to Grange Lane.  It may then be possible to identify its current name.
