1861 Census - Charles Herbert Marrison

This is turning into another brick wall and I'm wondering if a fresh pair of eyes might help :-

I'm trying to trace earlier generations of Charles Herbert Marrison born about 1857 in Sheffield.   1861 shows his father John Marrison age 58 (c.1803) born Harworth Notts (or could it be Haworth Yorks?) and mother Mary age 43 (c.1818) born Eakring Notts.   To confuse the picture 1871 shows John Marrison born in Sheffield.   In 1881 Herbert Marrison is a lodger with the Regan family in Sheffield and his father John has not been found - possibly died.

In 1861 there is a large age gap between John and Mary Marrison which might suggest a second marriage and I've had no success finding a possible marriage.    I wonder if John Marrison born c.1803 can be found in the 1851 census which might provide clues to trace his parents/ancestors?
