Looking for any info. regarding  descendents of James Crocket/t born 1867 :) at Drainie, Lossiemouth, and who went to Vancouver in the 1900's.  His father was William Crocket who married Margaret Ralph on 15.10.1826.

You do have a previous request for a James Crockett with parentage of James Crockett and Jane Wood emigrating to the same area in the same timeframe.

William and Margaret had a James b. 1844 and the family is present on the 1851 Scottish census in Drainie (Wm, Mgt, Elspeth, John, James).

Are we mixing generations?

Debbie

Sorry for having a senior moment. Two brothers both went to Canada James and Robert, traced Robert's family to Los Angeles some descendents still living there.  Trying to follow what happened to James's family, one of whom Alex. was on the 1930 Los Angeles census aged I think 20 stating he was Canadian so was trying to find out about his siblings whom I thought might still live in Canada and whether he went back to Canada. :-[

Better to keep all requests on one family together as it prevents people duplicating others work.

Have you checked out Family Search as previously suggested. https://www.familysearch.org/s/collection/list#page=1&region=NORTH_AMERICA

James died young as did one of his sisters 1917 and 1918.  The other sisters marriages are there and most of their deaths - one of them remarried after her husband's death in 1950.  Seems silly to type out all the information for you when it's easily found.

What you won't find are births as they are protected by privacy laws.  Hard to say who Alexander might belong to as James died single.
