Actually Mike, I have been so put off by the issue of displaying a medal with some other warrior's name on it now that I think I will go for a replica that "represents" what my ancestor was awarded.
I have no intention of claiming it to be George's medal and clasp,only a dill would do that-and I am many things,but I am not a dill. You have given me the complete answer to my problem,and I thank you sincerely for that.
