You ask whose tree on GR, but I am not permitted to name living persons on this site.  Have sent you a PM.  Roy G

I'll stand corrected Roy but surely as it's 'out there' on a public site with the name on it, that Rootschat stipulation wouldn't apply :-\

Hi Roy

Thanks for the pm.

I don't have paid access to GR so what I see is very limited.

The lady you mention is a relative and we have been in contact.

You could have mentioned her name on here, that isn't her real name now.

I'm always doing something wrong and getting wrapped knuckles, and having given someone's name in the past and had it removed, I now prefer to be cautious, especially as the name used appeared not to be a pseudenym.
I can also understand your reluctance to invest in a certificate, speculating, rather than knowing, it's the right one.  Unless you live in the locality, a personal visit to the archives or the cemetery would cost more though, unless you can make it an integral part of a day out or holiday.      Roy G

Hi Roy

The 'living person' scenario is a tricky one, I understand your caution. That's the problem with putting your 'real' name on a forum.

I'm going to have a good rummage around this week and see what else turns up. I can always raid the housekeeping for some extra cash if needed for the cert ;D  We'll have to eat value brand groceries for a few weeks.

For those who were watching this topic, I have finally found out that Ann was sent to Colney Hatch Asylum in November 1851 and died there in 1864.

I'm now planning a trip to the LMA to look at the surviving records.
